- Elastic band

Steps to Create a Welding Cap Sewing Pattern:
- Take Measurements:
- Measure your head circumference. This will be the key measurement for your welding cap.
- Design the Pattern:
- Create a rectangular pattern for the crown (the top part of the cap). The width of the rectangle should be your head circumference divided by 2π (approximately 6.28). The length of the rectangle is the desired height of your crown, typically about 6-7 inches.
- For the brim (the bill of the cap), create a rectangle that is about 5 inches wide and 2 times the length of the crown rectangle (so about 12-14 inches).
